Classes
Beginner Muay Thai
The starting point for all new CMA members — no experience required. This class teaches the fundamentals of Muay Thai while providing a challenging full-body workout. You'll learn basic technique, footwork, combinations, and pad work.
Brand new students will be paired with a coach for a semi-private introduction to the basics. There is no sparring or direct contact in Beginner class.
Intermediate Muay Thai
Build on the fundamentals with more technical instruction, challenging pad work, and light situational drilling. Students should understand the Beginner curriculum and basic pad holding before advancing.
Students should generally complete at least two weeks of consistent Beginner training (2–3x per week) and receive coach approval.
Required equipment: 16 oz. gloves and shin guards.
Advanced Muay Thai
Advanced class dives deeper into striking, clinching, fight strategy, and applying techniques in real time through advanced pad work, situational drilling, and controlled light sparring.
Instructor approval is required. Students should generally have at least six months of consistent training at CMA, own the necessary sparring equipment, and be comfortable holding free-feed pads.
Advanced Drilling
Put the techniques learned in Intermediate and Advanced classes into practice against a live, reacting partner. Situational drilling develops timing, reactions, strategy, and helps correct habits that can be difficult to identify during regular sparring.
Instructor approval is required. This class involves controlled direct contact and is especially valuable for students interested in competition or taking their training to the next level.
Strength & Conditioning
A one-hour workout designed to improve strength, explosiveness, conditioning, and endurance for Muay Thai and boxing. Classes combine cardio circuits, plyometrics, strength training, and boxing-based conditioning.
All experience levels are welcome.
What to bring: Boxing gloves, a water bottle, and comfortable workout clothes.
